“Z” brackets are the most common way to attach panels to various types of roofs. They ensure a secure attachment of your panel to the surface.
ABS mounts are mostly used on motorhomes, campervans, and caravans. These are ideal because they’re glued in place, so you don’t need to worry about drilling leaking holes into the roof.
We recommend connecting your solar panels in series for optimal performance, as this configuration results in less voltage drop and better efficiency in cloudy conditions. If you prefer parallel connection, please let us know and we’ll include the necessary Y connectors with your order.

Solar panels rarely achieve their rated wattage in real-world conditions. Optimal performance requires 25°C temperature, peak sunlight, no obstructions, and perfect panel angle – conditions met simultaneously. Environmental factors typically reduce output. For practical estimates, 75% of rated wattage per peak sun hour is generally reasonable in most climates.
