Not all lithium chemistry is made equal and Voltanic batteries use the safest (and greatest) of them all – Lithium Iron Phosphate or LiFePO4 for short. Chemically stable, and seriously efficient, the Voltanic LiFePO4 battery is about half the weight and can store twice the energy of a lead-acid, perfect for all and any off-grid solar systems.
Our LiFEPO4 Series features a state-of-the-art Battery Management System (BMS) that constantly monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of each cell in the battery. This system provides multiple layers of protection, helping to extend the life of the battery to its maximum potential.
Premium Grade A+ matched LiFePO4 cells provide incredible amounts of power for their size. They also ensure stable voltage throughout the charge and discharge curve with a long lifespan.
Voltanic’s 12V 120Ah lithium battery provides up to 6000+ recharge cycles at 80% discharge which equals a lifespan of 15+ years. Compare this to a lead-acid battery, which offers 500 recharge cycles and a 50% discharge rate, lithium batteries are by far a better long term investment.
Voltanic LiFePO4 series provides double the storage of a lead acid battery with half the weight.
