This kit is designed to work with 24V battery banks when choosing a 30A MPPT controller, and it is non-expandable. If you require 600W for your 12V battery or wish for expansion in the future, opt for a 60A controller.

“Z” brackets are the most common way to attach panels to various types of roofs. They ensure a secure attachment of your panel to the surface.

ABS mounts are mostly used on motorhomes, campervans, and caravans. These are ideal because they’re glued in place, so you don’t need to worry about drilling leaking holes into the roof.

We have designed this kit to be connected in series. If for any reason you prefer to connect in parallel with Y connectors, let us know and we’ll provide them for free.

Voltanic panels can be installed on homes, tinyhomes, motorhomes, campervans, boats, remote homes, summer houses, workshops, static caravans, stables and any outside building that you can think of. You can mount them on your roof or on the ground.

70-80% Output – Clear sky midday sun but with the panel laid flat.
50-65% Output – Thin cloud, or intermittent small clouds.
10-20% Output – Overcast sky or rainy conditions.

If you choose our 60A MPPT, this kit will work with 12v battery system.

To determine the size of your kit, it is important to first understand the power requirements of your system. Please read our short blog post here which will help you determine what size kit you require. If in doubt, give us a message and we’ll be happy to help.

Solar panels rarely achieve their rated wattage in real-world conditions. Optimal performance requires 25°C temperature, peak sunlight, no obstructions, and perfect panel angle – conditions met simultaneously. Environmental factors typically reduce output. For practical estimates, 75% of rated wattage per peak sun hour is generally reasonable in most climates.
