Datasheet
Where can I install Voltanic Solar Panels?

Voltanic panels can be installed on homes, tinyhomes, motorhomes, campervans, boats, remote homes, tiny homes, summer houses, workshops, static caravans, stables and any outside building. You can mount them of your roof or on the ground.

Are these compatible with my 12v system?

Yes, all Voltanic panels will work with 12v battery systems. Note that our 400w panel has a high voltage so if you are thinking of buying this panel, you should use our MPPT controller for maximum yield. Contact us if you’re not sure and we’ll be happy to advise.

How much power can I expect?

•70-80% Output – Clear sky midday sun but with the panel laid flat.
•50-65% Output – Thin cloud, or intermittent small clouds.
•10-20% Output – Overcast sky or rainy conditions.

What else do I need?
There are four main parts to your solar system:
Charge Controller: The brain of your system. It regulates how much power goes into the battery to keep it safe.
Batteries: These store the power collected by the panels. The more you store, the more you can use when there’s no sun.

Inverter: The inverter converts the 12V from the battery into a voltage suitable for your house-hold appliances (230V).

How many solar panels do I need?

To determine the number of solar panels you require, it is important to first understand the power requirements of your system. Please read our short blog post here which will help you determine how much power you need. Contact us if you need a hand.

Will I ever get the rated wattage?

Solar panels rarely achieve their rated wattage in real-world conditions. Optimal performance requires 25°C temperature, peak sunlight, no obstructions, and perfect panel angle – conditions met simultaneously. Environmental factors typically reduce output. For practical estimates, 75% of rated wattage per peak sun hour is generally reasonable in most climates.

Most solar kits have a dirty little secret they don't tell you about:
They waste valuable power.
Here's the deal

12V solar panels actually output around 20V

12V leisure batteries charge at just over 12V*

Standard PWM controllers simply drop those extra 8V — throwing away precious power

In cloudy Britain where every watt counts, this is a problem.
The Voltanic Difference

Every Voltanic Kit takes those wasted volts and converts them into extra amps using Advanced MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) Technology.

Harvest 100% of your Solar Energy - No wasted watts

Charge your Batteries 30% Faster

More Power, Fewer Panels - Perfect for tight spaces

Better Value Investment - Get what you pay for

Maximum Power. Zero Waste.
