What is a Solar Kit?

A Solar Kit is a bundle of equipment that allows you to generate electricity from the sun.

They include a solar panel for capturing energy, a battery bank for storing it, a charge controller to regulate the flow of energy into the battery, an inverter to convert the energy from DC to AC, and all the necessary wiring and mounting hardware.

The second & perhaps most important component of the Voltanic kit is the charge controller. The role of any charge controller is to protect your battery.

At Voltanic we use controllers with maximum power point tracking technology. This technology allows the controller to extract up to 99.99% of the available power from the panel.

Voltanics LiFePO4 Battery

The third component of the kit is the Lithium battery. Our batteries use the safest (and greatest) chemistry – Lithium Iron Phosphate or LiFePO4 for short.

Non-combustible, and seriously efficient, the Voltanic LiFePO4 battery is about half the weight and can store twice the energy of a lead acid.

Our LiFEPO4 Series features a state-of-the-art Battery Management System (BMS) that constantly monitors the voltage, current, and temperature of each cell in the battery.

You have two options for mounting your panels: the Z-Bracket, which is suitable for attaching your panel to surfaces such as camper vans and sheds, and the no-drill mounting bracket, which can be used on flat surfaces without the need for drilling holes.
